Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Sheetmetal Mechanic Foreman to oversee the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to motivate and guide a team of sheet metal mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of sheet metal mechanics in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Collaborate with onsite general contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage crew member time cards and track daily work logs
- Identify and layout roof curbs for installation of AC equipment and RTUs
- Measure duct connections or mods in the field for fabrication
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in HVAC installation or sheet metal fabrication
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High school graduate or equivalent
