Job Summary: A Planner is a member of the planning department. Their main responsibility is to release orders on wave plans to be fulfilled by our warehouses. This requires a well rounded knowledge of all of our systems, to be able to proactively ensure the orders flowing though will be able to be completed as planned. A planner is also a resource to the Warehouse operations, and Client services departments. They rely on Planners to communicate the created order wave plans, and any changes that happen during the order fulfillment process
Responsibilities
· Work with manager in the design and manage the flow of orders through the OMS and WMS systems.
· Assist in leading the establishment and maintenance of OMS and WMS work routines to maximize productivity.
· Support business changes and provide analysis supporting any changes needed to network/systems design.
· Reviews orders to ensure they can be fulfilled properly with our WMS and TMS systems.
· Creates order and labor plans that align with the workload capacity of each warehouse.
· Works with site manager to address any issues they have with order and labor plans.
· Communicates with Client Services team any changes to expected order fulfillment.
· Manages workload and ensures priority work is completed on time.
· Monitor, analyze and share daily/weekly reports with warehouse and customer managers.

· Provide feedback to the manager on the operations and employees.
· Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures.
· Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.
Education and Experience
· Associate degree or related business experience required.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by business needs.
· Knowledge and experience in WMS and TMS.
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word and Excel
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to detect items in close and far proximity.
· The person in this position frequently communicates with the public and teammates.
· Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations both in written and verbal form.
· The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the building as per the business and position needs.
· Detail orientated with conceptual thinking and implementation skills.
· Analytical and decision-making ability.

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
