Job Description
Metro One is the nation's premier Loss Prevention and Security Organization, with more than 100 National Clients and over 5,000 security personnel. Our employees are largely security officers, unarmed and armed, concierge officers, special event security, and trained and licensed personnel who work in retail, logistics, corporate, education and other industries and settings.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Role
- Assess patients to determine necessary care and administer treatment as needed.
- Provide emergency response and care utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to patient rights.
- Transport patients safely between hospitals and care facilities in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
Responsibilities: Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care, provide patients with emergency response and care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment, document patient information, condition, and treatment, maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights, work within and pursuant to OSHA policies, transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures, maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, operate and drive ambulance if necessary in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Current EMT certification/license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license in the state of practice.
- One year of experience in an emergency care setting preferred.
- Able to bend, pull, push, and lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment.
