What we're looking for!
Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for either a part time or full time Speech-Language Pathologist in our Garden City clinic location, which houses a beautiful sensory gym equipped with modern speech supplies! The caseload will vary from pediatrics to adults, but pediatrics experience is a must. Position can either be 100% outpatient part time with benefits (with requirement of 20 sessions per week) OR a full time hybrid schedule (with requirement of treating both outpatient and home care cases).
Job Type: Part time and full time options
Pay: 50-55k (part time), 75-80k (full time)
Schedule: Semi-flexible for part time / 3 days outpatient, 2 days home care for full time

- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
- Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
