LMSW/LMHC/LCSW Psychotherapist

Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is a group private practice that provides psychotherapy to young adults, adults, and couples. We work with many communities, groups and populations. We are currently seeking a psychotherapist with a proven track record of expertise in working with diverse populations. The ideal candidate will possess cultural competence, sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths within diverse communities. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide intake assessments and administer psychotherapy to individuals and couples(if desired).
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with insurance and practice expectations.
• Schedule appointments with patients.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
• Perform a variety of other job-related responsibilities as requested.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Active NYS LCSW/LMSW license.
• Familiarity with various theoretical approaches, such as ACT and CBT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
• Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Experience working with electronic medical records.
• Reliable computer and internet service and appropriate remote work environment to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
