As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and the individuals within. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the building and its surrounding areas. Here's a detailed overview of your duties:
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Access Control:** Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter. Conduct thorough identification checks as needed.
2. **Patrols:** Conduct regular patrols of the building, parking lots, and other designated areas. Remain vigilant for any signs of suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or potential safety hazards.
3. **Surveillance:** Utilize security cameras and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the premises. Report any unusual incidents promptly.
4. **Emergency Response:** Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals on-site.
5. **Customer Service:** Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and employees. Assist with directions, information, or other inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
6.**Safety Protocols:** Enforce safety and security protocols, ensuring compliance with established procedures. Address and report any violations promptly.
7. **Communication:** Maintain clear and effective communication with fellow security personnel, management, and local law enforcement when necessary. Keep detailed incident reports and logs.
8. **Physical Security:** Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities. Ensure that all doors, windows, and access points are properly secured.
**Requirements:**
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in security or a related field is preferred.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
4. Must be physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.
5. Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
6. Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures
