The Clerk will be responsible for managing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selections.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks when required, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Support floral design initiatives by arranging flowers and maintaining displays.
- Engage in retail sales activities, promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
- Manage e-commerce orders, ensuring timely processing and fulfillment.
- Maintain an organized workspace to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling transactions.
- Experience in stock management and inventory control is a plus.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic floral design knowledge is a nice-to-have but not required.
- Retail sales experience is advantageous for promoting products effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
