As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meat products while ensuring adherence to food safety and handling standards.
Responsibilities
- Skillfully carve and prepare various types of meats for display and customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the carving station and surrounding kitchen area.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and fulfilling special requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of meat products and supplies.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of meat preparation techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store environment preferred.
- Proficient in meat cutting techniques and knowledgeable about various cuts of meat.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
