Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide informed recommendations.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and discounts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
