This position will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring our product, as well as our service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance while maintaining quality testing procedures, practices and standard evaluation methods.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
- Enforce and document all GMP standards and deficiencies.
- Draft and modify quality policies and procedures as needed.
- Draft and modify facility training Power Points as needed.
- Conduct New Hire training.
- Conduct line audits using an iPad.
- Complete data entry, as required
- Perform Production start-up and change over inspections.
- Conduct continuous line inspections throughout the shift ensuring product quality.
- Perform weight checks for finished goods.
- Perform seal strength testing for finished goods.
- Perform breakage testing for in-process and finished goods.
- Collect and compile statistical quality data.
- Ensure finished goods meet manufacturing specifications.
- Build first production samples of new displays and create photo instruction guides for line leaders.
- Write Non-Conformity Reports as needed.
- Assist with implementation of corrective actions.
- Perform general housekeeping duties within the quality office.
- Inspect incoming components for quality conformity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow Metro safety procedures.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

Education and Experience- Associate degree or comparable industry experience.
- 3-12 months in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds repeatedly.
