Responsibilities:
This role requires a highly experienced Project Manager to lead multiple projects simultaneously using PMO methodology, standards, and governance. Key responsibilities include developing the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, budget, contingency plan, and related project management artifacts. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk identification and mitigation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contractor/consultant relationships relevant to the project, managing and developing assigned resources on the project as part of day-to-day work activities, conducting training as relevant or required to project teams, other project managers, or wider teams, and acting as liaison between the project team and upper-level management. Furthermore, the successful candidate will establish and monitor project controls, identify issues that need to be resolved during projects, facilitate resolution, and escalate more complex issues to the Director, PMO for resolution as required.
This role may require extensive travel up to 75% of the time. The successful candidate will have 5 years of leading teams in transformation, change management, technical integration, and implementation of project management functions. Experience in managing start-up projects, warehousing, and WMS experience is strongly desired. Previous Operations Leadership experience, financial acumen, understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control are essential.
