- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvements in services to clients and customers.

- Maintains conference center, conference rooms, facilities, and equipment at District Center.
- Set-up conference rooms prior to scheduled use by vacuuming, mopping, cleaning doors, walls, furniture, and equipment as needed.
- Set-up tables, exhibits, risers, food service tables, etc. in conference rooms and hallways.
- Assist audio-visual department with equipment and check to make sure it is in working condition.
- Regularly have verbal contact with client to see if all needs are met to ensure conference rooms are arranged to specifications.
- Break-down and clean-up of meeting rooms following events.
- Often assigned custodial duties in the Business Conference Center.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
- Ability to interpret instructions, written and oral.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance.
- Indoor setting with minimal duties outdoors.
- Flexible schedule including weekends.
- Frequent communication with conference center staff, clients, and customers.
- Constant moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, reaching, manual dexterity, and handling (all representative duties).
