Metro Trailer Leasing Inc. is looking for a motivated individual to help lead it’s Greenville Branch with operation and sales growth support. You will be responsible for branch operation in conjunction with the Branch Manager.

Operations Associate Job Duties
· Inspection of trailers making sure they are safe, meeting Federal Highway guidelines and other industry regulation. Help train all associates on how to properly inspect trailer inbounds and outbounds
· Generating customer rental agreements. Review and train all new associates in how to properly complete a rental agreement and ensure all customer pertinent information is included for customer and company review.
· Coordinate all work performed on trailers with vendors as well as Metro Technicians ensuring the work performed follows branch policies and procedures. Includes, issuing and monitor all work order and work flow in conjunction with the Branch Manager
· Monitor and track all branch operation expenses looking for opportunities to improve expenses without impacting customer service and or quality of Metro Trailer Leasing products
· Set up new vendors, issue purchase orders and prepare invoices for payment.
· Bill and communicate damages to the customers in a timely fashion to ensure on time payments
· Manages and reconciles all equipment inventory both out-bound and in-bound gate activity daily. Utilizing gate activity log and daily yard check
· Check in newly purchased trailers and audit against the purchase invoice to ensure we get all trailers in a timely fashion and in good condition.
· Assist in the transportation of equipment between branches as well as to customers and vendors. Including dispatching drivers in conjunction with Branch Manager
· Plan, coordinate, and manage delivery truck schedules for customer deliveries, pickups, new purchase pickups, and any other transportation operations needs.
· Assist all branch associates in obtaining proper insurance for each customer prior to renting a trailer. We are responsible to ensure proper insurance is up to date and on file prior to the trailer leaving the yard
· Assist accounts receivable with collections by keeping all associates informed with past due issues with customer and ask for assistance from account managers as directed by the credit manager.
· Daily administrative paperwork and filing. Keep all lease, unit and customer files updated and in order.
· Assist in answering phones, responding to emails and questions from customers. Help pre-qualify and distribute leads to the proper associates for incoming trailer requests
· Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting included, but not limited to, Daily Sales Summary, Daily End Of Day Summary, In & Out Report, Truck Delivery & Pickup Log.
· Help identify and purchase new and used inventory in conjunction with and at the direction of the Branch Manager and senior leadership
· Help recruit and train all operations personnel in conjunction with the Branch Manager
Knowledge/ Requirements
· 2 year operations or related management experience required
· Strong customer service and problem solving skills a must
· Dependable transportation to and from work
· Good driving record a plus
· Dependable and Reliable
Physical Requirements
· Ability to physically climb in and out and underneath trailers
· Walking the trailer yard for short and long periods of time
Technology Skills
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites- Word, Excel, and Power Point
· General computer knowledge for new applications and programs.
