The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Analytics Analyst is responsible for analyzing claims data, identifying trends in denials and collections, and providing actionable insights to improve revenue cycle efficiency. This role reports to the Revenue Cycle Optimization Manager with a dotted line to the Data and Technology Senior Manager. This position will also collaborate closely with Finance and Operations to drive process improvements and enhance financial performance.
In this role, you will consult with leaders across the organization, conduct ad hoc analyses on complex datasets, develop dashboards to track progress, and influence decision-making through data-driven insights. You'll also manage initiatives focused on process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

- Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve financial performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor revenue cycle health.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to provide insights, explain impactors, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with RCM leaders to reduce denials, enhance collections, and streamline workflows.
- Utilize data analytics tools to automate reporting and improve accuracy.
- Present findings to leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure data integrity by working closely with IT and data teams.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements for RCM leaders.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrates a deep understanding of financial principles and practices, including revenue cycle management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Possesses strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex issues and challenges within the revenue cycle.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including patients, physicians, staff, and executives, to build strong relationships and resolve issues.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverages data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve revenue cycle outcomes.
- Comfortable proposing and testing different hypothesis to management
- Self starter and able to work independently to drive execution of project
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Finance, or related fields
- 5 years of relevant analytical work experience in Healthcare revenue cycle management, Healthcare Finance, Healthcare Insurance, or Healthcare operations
- Expertise in manipulating and analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets using programming languages such as SQL, Python
- Experience with Google BigQuery (GBQ)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
- Experience with Tableau

- Deep understanding of revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, collections, authorizations, and denial management.
- Is able to take a consulting like approach in reviewing the data and isn't waiting for new requests from wider team to propose solutions/area of opportunities
