Meto West law firm is seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations, facility management, staffing workflow, HR compliance and human resources administration. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills to support the firm's operational excellence and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the law firm, ensuring the appropriate allocation of resources available to meet the needs of attorneys, and support staff.
- Oversee facilities, including maintenance, and office appearance.
- Facilitate internal office setup while assisting with moves, ensuring seamless transitions of furniture and equipment to support attorneys’ and staff requirements.
- Human Resources Administration: Oversee the administration of performance evaluations.
- Oversee employee benefit programs and ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide coaching and performance management to support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to align with the firm’s strategic objectives.
- Negotiate and oversee vendor contracts.
- Ensure offsite storage of client files follow the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Professional Liability Standards and legal requirements for opening new client matters.
- Ensure the firm’s Professional Liability Policy is completed and renewed in a timely manner.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement processes and maintain high standards for service quality.
- Collaborate with the management team to streamline operational processes and support legal workflows.
- Maintain compliance with legal industry regulations and best practices in office management.
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning initiatives, aligning operational goals with the firm’s overall mission and vision.
- Work with Benefits Providers to ensure all insurance contracts are in good standing.
Qualifications
- At least five years of office management experience. Law firm experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of human resources administration, including compliance with ADA, FMLA, and Workers’ Comp requirements.
- Expertise in vendor negotiations, contract management, and facilities oversight.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with a focus on employee relations and development.
- Strategic thinker with experience in planning and aligning operations with organizational goals.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced legal environment.
Law firm experience a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
