Responsibilities
- Teach DJ Lessons: Lead structured individual and smallgroup sessions covering Serato DJ software, beatmatching, mixing techniques, and music selection.
- Encourage Creativity: Inspire students to develop their own DJ style and explore a variety of genres.
- Assess Progress: Track student development, provide actionable feedback, and adapt your approach to each learner.
- Foster Engagement: Create a positive, motivating atmosphere that keeps students excited about DJing.
- Prepare for Showcases: Coach students for instudio or community performance events.
- Collaborate: Work with fellow instructors and staff to share best practices and ensure program consistency.
- Communicate: Maintain clear, timely updates with students and guardians about progress, goals, and scheduling.
- Bachelors degree in Music, Audio Production, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Proficiency with Serato DJ software and basic audio equipment setup.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for mentoring students and sharing DJ culture.
