Grant Coordination (90%)
- Maintain client, property and personnel related reports which accurately reflect revenue and expenses to individual Housing Reporting Units
- Prepare Housing reports for grants and contracts as assigned
- Review vendor invoices and other payment request for the assigned vendors, confirming accurate allocation to Housing Reporting Units for submission to the Metrocare Finance Department
- Verifies correct grant payments have been processed and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Reviews budgets to verify accurate costs each month and resolve any inconsistencies.
- Perform reconciliation and analysis of associated revenues and expenses
- Reviews and finalizes weekly payment requests and submits to Finance for payment.
- Ensures Grant Update reports are accurate and readily available for management each week.
- Ensures files are complete and compliant under HUD guidelines.
- Log all leases and monitor deposits for all units.
- Verify all leases are current and lease terms meet HUD requirements.
- Review all utility expenses and develop a utility spreadsheet to track and monitor usage.
- Assists Recertification Coordinators with annual and during program recertifications.
- Assists Logistics Coordinator with processing rent and completing lease violations
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of office management or finance experience.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to understand and analyze financial data.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts to accurately report financial data .
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to utilize Internet for resources.
- Ability tocreate tables, enter formulas, and format cells using Excel.
- Typing 50 wpm and 10-Key entry experience.
- Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state. If licensed in another state, must obtain Texas Driver License within three (3) months of employment.
- Liability insurance required if employee will operate personal vehicle on Center property or for Center business. Must be insurable by Centers liability carrier if employee operates a Center vehicle or drives personal car on Center business. Must have an acceptable driving record.
