Summary:
Coordinates Advanced Practice Provider (APP) administrative duties and support activities for the Chief Advanced Practice Officer (CAPO) and assigned director(s) in the Office of APP. Performs and oversees diverse and complex project duties and activities that require high accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Ensures efficient handling of the communications and record-keeping requirements of the office. Serves as liaison for assigned leaders. Assists the CAPO and Director(s) as assigned, including coordinating program activities, meetings, events, and other daily activities. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associate degree in a related field or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience in addition to the training and experience listed below.
Experience providing administrative support and performing duties relevant to this position.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly and adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to manage multiple and/or simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize one’s work schedule.
Ability to maintain confidentiality for all medical, financial, and legal information.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and medical staff. Ability to build strong relationships with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures and build community within a group.
Preferred:
Experience with scheduling and registering functions of Outlook.
Experience in project management and organization.
Experience providing concordant administrative support to multiple leaders.
Experience in a healthcare setting.
Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity is required to operate office equipment. Ability to communicate face-to-face, by phone, by email, and through other means. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
