Summary:
In collaboration with Better Health Partnership (BHP) leadership and staff, facilitates multi-faceted activities to advance BHP’s mission across clinical, public health, payer, and community sectors to achieve improvements in equitable population and community health in Northeast Ohio. Supports multi-sector projects by coordinating and monitoring activities, and communicating workplan progress to invested stakeholders. Supports organizational communications, education, and marketing strategies, including Learning Collaboratives, events, newsletters, social media, and community engagement. This role, across its responsibilities, embodies a commitment to racial equity, inclusion, and social justice, including working to address the disproportionate burden of health disparities on intentionally marginalized communities. Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, communications or a health-related field. In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Minimum of two years combined progressively responsible project coordination experience, including planning, analysis, and process improvement. Knowledge of social media platforms and contemporary office applications including Microsoft Office products as well as remote-meeting tools such as Teams, WebEx, and Zoom. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, listening, and presentation skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while maintaining strong customer service. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds Preferred: Knowledge of Asana or other project management tools. Knowledge of Canva. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, most notably Word, PowerPoint, and Access. Knowledge of social drivers of health and health related social needs. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate face-to-face, as well as via phone, email, and other media. Ability to comfortably lift up to 25 pounds on occasion. Ability to use computer. Ability to read job-related documents.
