Summary:
Conducts and evaluates clinical information systems trainings and supports programs that contribute to the achievement of The MetroHealth System’s corporate and business objectives. Utilizes principles of adult education and group dynamics to facilitate learning. Obtains and maintains proficiency with a variety of clinical applications as assigned. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Associate degree in healthcare, computer science, or education. In lieu of a degree, 2 years of job-related experience that includes adult education or training will be considered. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Excellent critical thinking and analytical aptitude. Ability to translate clinical workflows, practice, and electronic documentation into an adult training program/curriculum. Proficient skills with Microsoft Office tools. Access to reliable transportation to travel between facilities to complete and/or maintain required system trainings. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, or education. Clinical experience. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare clinical information systems. Experience developing training curriculums. Experience training end users. Experience supporting a go-live and/or system implementation. Current Epic application certification(s). Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
