Bi-weekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 7a-3:30p/ 7a-7:30p/ 3p-11:30p ; Rotating Weekends & Holidays

Primary Patient Population:
Stroke RehabilitationPrimary skills utilized/learned:
- Assisting patients with all aspects of personal hygiene, eating & drinking
- Answering call lights & taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and other parameters as instructed). Performing/transmitting basic ECG and phlebotomy.
Personnel PCNA will work with :
RNs, LPNs, Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians.Number of beds on unit:

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
- Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as an STNA is optional after employment in this position).
- 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
