Today, through our state-of-the-art Level One Trauma Center, cutting-edge specialty care units, and dedicated caregivers, the system is working at the forefront of medicine to address the overall needs of our patients and eliminate healthcare disparities.Join our Level 1 Trauma Center Main Campus Emergency Department!_Primary Patient Population : _ Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients Level 1 Trauma Center_Primary skills utilized / learned : _ Assisting patients with all aspects of personal hygiene, eating & drinking Answering call lights & taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and other parameters as instructed). Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.Preferred Qualifications : Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE : Maintaining ODH Registry status as an STNA is optional after employment in this position). 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
