Mover/Helper/Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services, ensuring that items are handled with care and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in driving box trucks or vans. This position is essential in providing a seamless moving experience for our clients while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

• Operate box trucks or vans to transport items safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for moving heavy items within the warehouse or during deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns during the moving process.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including inventory counts and condition of items transported.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while driving and handling materials.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Previous experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is a plus.
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing deliveries and inventory.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
