About the position:

What You’ll Do:
- Analyze and manage dialysis patient data to ensure accuracy in records and billing
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in census, charges, and patient details
- Maintain and update dialysis unit records in Smartsheet & other tracking tools
- Communicate with dialysis centers to verify insurance, patient status, and charge details
- Assist with charge entry and troubleshooting billing-related questions
- Work closely with an amazing team that values accuracy, efficiency, and problem-solving

Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum five years of experience in business office setting.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of EMR(s), Epic experience preferred.
- Able to create and work in Excel.
- Dialysis enrollment creation, follow up, obtaining and processing change information from the dialysis units and providers, communicating with providers as needed.
- Personal Qualities: Possesses confidence and skills to deal directly with and influence their team, dialysis units and providers.
- Customer service focused and responsive to customer’s needs, energetic, respects confidentiality, proactive and able to work independently.
- Is kind to staff, patients and providers and is willing to provide assistance as able when others in the workplace need it.
- Takes pride in their work and. Owns responsibility for their actions.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, EMR’s, Outlook.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; able to effectively resolve conflict situations, able to work collaboratively with physicians, directors, managers and staff.
- Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
- Work Environment: Position is in a well-lighted office environment. Occasional evening and weekend work. Travel between office locations required sometimes.
- Mental/Physical Requirements: Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder, with some lifting.
Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM, 30 min lunch to be completed by 2 PM
