ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
o Wireless/WLAN Technologies - 802.11n, ac,ax
o Network protocols – IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, IGMP, SIP, POTS, OSPF
o IP protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Spanning Tree, ISIS
o Network Analysis Tools - Wireshark, NMAP, Iperf, Wireless Spectrum Analyzers
o L2 switching/L3 routing.
o Network Security fundamentals and best practices
o Platforms: Cisco, Nokia, Adtran, Metaswitch VoIP/ SIP Softswitch and Session Border Controller and others.

- Lead product design and development from conception through production and beyond.
- Work in close collaboration with other disciplines to ensure product integrability and testability.
- Create and execute test plans, maintain test records, and communicate test results to key stakeholders across multiple
- Develop product documentation, user manuals, Methods of Procedures (MOP), Technical Specifications among other types of
- Oversee & manage the certification of products.
- Develop testing procedures to enhance product quality and performance.
- Oversee the resolution of the problems encountered.
- Evaluate, choose, and communicate with new and existing vendors.
- Contribute to the roadmap - collaborate with the rest of the product team to discover, define, and prioritize design work.
- Serve as team leader and mentor to junior team members.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and improve upon existing processes for optimization and to meet standards of quality overall.
- Highschool Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 7 years’ experience in telecommunications in a product development or product testing role.
- Strong technical aptitude with solid analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of industry best practices in the product development process.
- Build productive internal/external working relationships.
- Effectively organize and manage information from various sources.
- Deep knowledge of the following.
