What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Cost Estimating Specialist position at Metronet Associates, LLC?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with senior staff, management, and engineers to verify proper schematics before construction
- Collaborate closely with Sales to analyze the past projects to estimate future project costs
- Organize incoming project requests and estimating cost analysis for residential, expansion, and joint trench opportunities
- Research existing network for ability to service new installations and expansion areas.
- Estimating costs and comparing budgets with actual expenses of projects
- Forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor and inventory
- Manage and organize cost estimates for new projects.
- Maintain sales leads funnel for Community Development
- All other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor degree in relevant field preferred
- 2 years of equivalent experience in related field
- Fiber Design and project management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office product specifically Word and Excel
