**Job Description:**

We are seeking a responsible and attentive individual to join our team as a Lifeguard for the upcoming summer season. As a Lifeguard at Metroplex Gymnastics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our campers during aquatic activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Monitor swimmers to ensure their safety and prevent accidents.
• Enforce all pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe swimming environment.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents.
• Provide first aid or CPR as needed until emergency medical services arrive.
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
• Assist in the setup and takedown of aquatic equipment and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with camp staff, parents, and campers regarding pool safety and rules.
• Maintain accurate records of pool attendance, incidents, and any required paperwork.

**Qualifications:**

• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Prior experience as a lifeguard preferred, especially in a camp or recreational setting.
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety techniques.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during assigned shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

**Schedule:**

This is a seasonal position, with hours primarily during camp operating hours, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend hours may be required for special events or trainings.
