- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries.
- Support internal medicine practices by assisting with patient follow-ups and care coordination.
- Engage with geriatric patients with empathy and understanding to meet their unique healthcare needs.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is preferred.
- Experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable; familiarity with medical-surgical practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in performing administrative tasks related to patient care management.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as trauma centers or surgical units.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, particularly geriatrics.
