What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH/Barista position at METROPOL BAKERY?
We are looking for someone to join our team long term at Metropol Bakery and work the Counter shift. This individual must have a friendly attitude, patience, feel comfortable greeting people, be skilled at multitasking, complete tasks under pressure, and be adept at handling customer complaints. This individual should have open availability, and experience making and serving coffee! Our hours at Metropol Bakery open to customers are from 8am-4pm. The Counter shift duties include, but are not limited to, organizing pastries and bread in our baskets, placing our cookie variety on display, using the cash register, creating a number of different coffee beverages using our espresso machine, meeting and greeting customers, taking over-the-phone-orders, cleaning and maintaining areas, making sandwiches, stocking the case with our variety of cakes, pies, and other marvelous desserts, such as our well known Cream Puff, which much like everything else is bursting with flavor!
