What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Utility/Laundry position at Metropolis Resort?
Metropolis Resort is currently accepting applications for our hotel utility/laundry position! Our hotel utility/laundry team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations and overall cleanliness of the hotel and the connecting parks. The ideal candidate enjoys cleaning, is self motivated, and detail-orientated.
The hours for this position will primarily be Friday-Sunday, 4-11pm. Hired candidates may also work the morning shift which is 8-4pm.
Duties include:
-Perform daily cleaning tasks in various areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, and back-of-house areas. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing supplies as necessary.
-Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
-Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers and dryers.
-Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
-Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure efficient operations and a positive guest experience.
-Be willing to work in various areas of the hotel, including different shifts and weekends, based on operational needs.
