The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) is a 166-year-old organization representing businesses, colleges and universities, and nonprofits across the 29-county region that makes up the nation’s sixth-largest market. Summary
This paid internship offers flexible hours with no more than 25 hours per week for up to 6 months. Gain valuable experience in data management, project management, and customer service in a dynamic and diverse work environment. Ideal candidates are positive, curious, and possess a sense of.
Primary responsibilities include supporting the MAC Talent Team in managing the talent and intern placement programs. These programs rely on accurate tracking and reporting of data for operations. This internship will also offer opportunities to participate in both of these talent teams daily activity and events as needed.
Work Program:
- Provide data and program support for MAC’s talent acquisition and internship placement teams including compilation of data needed for grant reports and execution
- Setting up and executing recurring, regular reports for talent acquisition and intern placement teams to track progress towards teams’ goals
- Field internal and external talent inquiries, and direct them appropriately.
- Assist the talent team with various data-related projects, broader talent event execution, and other daily operational tasks as assigned
- Learn and manage appropriate talent software platforms for data tracking and reporting purposes (training provided)
- Assist with scheduling and/or staffing meetings/webinars
- This internship may occasionally require working early and late hours depending on your schedule and reporting deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Recent graduates or current students are encouraged to apply
- Strong data management skills
- Strong communication and writing skills for both internal and external audiences
- Strong sense of curiosity regarding data and data management and ability to quickly understand needed details
- Flexibility to work around your schedule and MAC’s schedule of talent events
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency or knowledge of Yello, Monday Project Management, or other similar software programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,) internet search, etc.
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Curious and motivated to produce results working individually and as part of a team
