Tutors students one-on-one and assists in math classrooms and math centers. The Tutor collaborates with math faculty mentors.
1. Provides individual students personalized instruction for one-on-one tutoring.
2. As modular assistants, checks computers in and out, answers student questions, and proctors testing.
3. Communicates with math faculty and collaborates inside and outside of class time.
4. Move from student to student answering questions at various math levels when in the Math Center.
5. Assists students using educational software.
6. Encourages students in their math efforts while building their confidence.
7. Consistently and dependably attend work, training, and other scheduled or assigned activities.

College or university STEM major who has completed Intermediate Algebra or higher
OR
a Bachelor’s degree in math or a related field.
Math GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Grade of B or higher in the course they wish to tutor.
Preferred Qualifications

Physical Demands
