ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists in the implementation of efficient workflow, methods and procedures for consistent store operations.
2. Advances store goals and objectives through service and collaboration while representing the department internally and externally.
3. Cultivates relationships with faculty, staff, administration, vendors, other educational institutions, professional associations and special interest groups.
4. Manages store presentation through merchandising, visual displays, and frequent layout refresh as prescribed.
5. Creates and manages the store’s staffing work schedule. Implements promotional sales events, clearance sales, and seasonal sales events using sales data to identify items and timing as prescribed.
6. Assists in the selection and evaluations of staff.
7. Attends work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
2. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other college supported systems.
3. Excellent communication skills including active listening.
4. Excellent customer services standards of excellence; portraying interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work well with minimal supervision in a team-orientated environment.
7. Ability to demonstrate cooperation and professionalism while maintaining patience and understanding in stressful situations.

The Retail Services Manager oversees daily operations of the College’s Campus Store at Elkhorn Valley Campus (EVC). This position models customer service excellence to all external and internal customers, resolves customer complaints, and responds to feedback. The Manager plans and supervises retail operations at EVC and supports MCC Campus Store goals and objectives and hourly shifts. The Manager ensures customer satisfaction, quality control and operations consistency.

Required Qualification
Associate degree with three (3) years of full-time retail work experience with a demonstrated track record of project and supervisory management.
Demonstrated ability or aptitude to lead, teach and manage others.
Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered.
