What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Faculty: Assistant Coach - Men's Basketball position at Metropolitan Community College?
The Assistant Basketball Coach has the responsibility for assisting the Head Coach with the overall managment and supervision of all aspects of the athletic program. The position is fully responsible for compliance with National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) rules and regulations as well as MCC's policies governing intercollegiate athletics.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree and an additional three (3) years of basketball coaching/playing experience at the college or professional level.
- Minimum of three (3) years of coaching or instruction of basketball.
Preferred Qualifications
- Use of word processing programs, scheduling, recruiting, fundraising, promotional activities, and public relations.
