The Workforce and Economic Development Division (WED) of Metropolitan Community College is the leader in innovative workforce solutions and community enrichment. We partner to first develop our community in order to develop it economically for the growth of the Kansas City metro's citizens; families, businesses, industry, organizations, and associations.
As in instructor you will teach students to become aware of laws and regulations that affect the construction industry and learn how to communicate safety and health issues to management to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses. Through training students gain the knowledge to repair, renovation, alteration and demolition.

- Five (5) years experience in construction industry.
- Supervisory and instruction experience in either the field or related experience.
- Experience teaching basic construction principals, industry make-up, and construction math.
