Part-Time Staff: Motorcycle Range Aide

Job Summary:
The primary role of the Range Aide is to assist the Instructor(s) with non-instructional activities. Range Aides may provide various forms of assistance from placing the cones on the range to maintaining the motorcycles used during class.

As a Range Aide, you will help instructors retrieve and store bikes, set up the range between exercises, and help in other ways as needed to save time and to facilitate a smooth transition between exercises on the range portion of class

Physical Requirements:

Positions in this class typically require: balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, grasping, hearing, kneeling, pulling, pushing, stooping, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, talking, visual acuity, and walking. The work requires exerting in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Incumbents may be exposed to hazardous physical conditions, such as, mechanical parts, electrical currents, and vibrations; atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors, gases, and poor ventilation; extreme temperatures; intense noise; other environmental conditions.
