Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to fill immediately. This position is 10 hours a week and pays $24.50/hour. Shifts would occur after 3pm.
They would like help with the following:
- Some assistance getting dressed
- Meal prep and shopping
- Cleaning
- Assist with mail
Requirements:
- Calm demeanor
- Reliable
- Good communicator (English)
- Experience as a paid caregiver
- Pass a background check
Additional Details:
- Please allow up to 2 business days for your application to be processed.
- All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
- MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
- MCS is a non-profit organization.
Schedule:
- Afternoons and early evenings
License/Certification:
- Driver's License, reliable transportation and valid car insurance is required.
Please note that this position may require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team is essential.
