Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) is a culturally sensitive, community responsive provider of health and social services. Our primary activities consist of providing services, education and resources with an emphasis on honoring the dignity and value of each individual who lives in the continuum of long-term care. We are currently accepting applications for a Direct Support Professional (who likes to organize) to fill immediately. Free Parking is available for this position.
Duties:
- Assisting with bathing
- Organizing and cleaning the home
- Meal planning and prep
- Shopping and laundry
- Transporting into the community (Must have reliable transportation)
Qualifications:
- Reliability
- Good professional boundaries
- Calm demeanor
- Experience as a caregiver
- Organizational skills
- Pass a background check
- English speaking
