Job Summary
Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position to fill immediately. The client is a female looking for a female DSP (IHS without training) at 6 hours/week in the Plymouth area. The client would like a DSP for 2 x week, with some flexibility to reschedule if the client has an appointment Mon-Fri. No weekends, or nights. Client prefers a DSP Mon-Fri between 10a-5pm.
Duties:
- transport and accompany to run errands, go shopping, and other activities of interest
- support with cleaning home, and laundry
- support with completing paperwork
- support with other independent living skills
Requirements:
- English-speaker
- Calm demeanor
- Experience as a DSP
- Pass a background check
- driver's license with active car insurance
Additional Details:
- Please allow up to 4 business days for your application to be processed.
- All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
- MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
- MCS is a non-profit organization.
