Job Summary
Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position to fill immediately. This individual is looking for a female DSP (IHS without training) for 8 hours/week in the Bloomington area. She'd prefer staffing Tuesdays and Thursdays 10a-1p.
They'd like the DSP to help them with the following:
- Accompany to community for grocery shopping, and errands
- Accompany to community center to exercise, and socialize
- Assist with meal prep, learning healthier snack/meal menu ideas
- Assist with completing paperwork when needed
- Support with other independent living skills
Responsibilities and Duties
- Transportation
- Assisting with independent living skills
Requirements:
- Fluent English-speaker
- Calm demeanor
- Experience as a DSP
- Pass a background check
Additional Details:

- All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
- MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
- MCS is a non-profit organization.
