Position Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to take on the role of Grant Accountant. The ideal candidate focuses on details, thrives on collaboration, and welcomes innovation. This individual will manage an assigned portfolio of at least 90 grants and contracts annually.
Principal Responsibilities :
Grant Accounting / Billing : 80% - 90%
- Prepare financial reports and invoices for all grants to ensure timely and accurate submission to government funders and private foundations.
- Ensure financial compliance with government and private foundation funding requirements.
- Prepare journal entries and allocations as needed.
- Respond to funder-related inquiries from key stakeholders at Met Council and various agencies.
- Assist in the preparation of funder desk audits.
- Maintain accurate and updated financial records and files.

Compensation : $62,400 - $75,000 per year.
