We are now seeking a part-time Parent Ambassador at our Southeast Center!

About the Parent Ambassador Role: The role of the Parent Ambassador is to ensure for parent representative within our AOK Network as part of the birth to five family community to help advocate for the children and families in Southeast Chicago area.
Responsibilities:
· Attend 50% (minimum) of Network meetings monthly (in person preferred)
· Attend all check-ins with supervisor (twice monthly: 1:1 and group)
· Share all events and materials posted by either Southeast Chicago AOK or MFS if on social media
· Attend 50% (minimum) of AOK sponsored events
· Complete and submit all requested/ required documentation associated with this role to include, but not be limited to forms such as the Activity/ Effort Tracking Form
· Participate within/ Complete all training required by AOK and MFS to serve within this role
Requirements:
· Must currently be pregnant or have children in the 0-8 range
· Must have the ability to travel to events and meetings
· Must be available for Network meetings monthly (in person preferred)
· Must be available for Workgroup meetings quarterly (in person or virtual)
· Must be available for check-ins twice monthly with supervisor (1:1 and group)
· Must live in Southeast Chicago
· Must complete and satisfactorily pass a comprehensive background check
Compensation:
Can earn up to $800 a stipend a year, paid up to $200 quarterly dependent upon hours worked.
