ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPosition: FINANCIAL ANALYST
Salary: $62,837 - $71,708

Under general supervision, to perform professional accounting work in preparation and maintenance of financial and accounting records; monitor and coordinate financial procedures as necessary; and to do related work as required

• Performs daily balancing procedure for financial system, responsible for maintaining balanced books in all companies;
• Analyzes general ledger and expense accounts;
• Prepares various financial and statistical reports;
• Reconciles Bank accounts;
• Reconciles and analyzes a variety of control and subsidiary accounts;
• Prepares journal entries and cash receipts;
• Establishes and maintains vendor files;
• Maintains contracts and purchase orders;
• Provides data for internal and external audits;
• Maintains fixed asset system for agency including depreciation schedules;
• Processes payments for disbursing account and housing voucher program account including transmission of files to bank;
• Reviews and processes procurement card transactions from other departments.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Prior experience with accounts payable, tenant accounting, and preparing financial reports. Experience with Yardi Accounting software and Payroll software preferred.

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; ability to prepare and analyze accounting reports; proficient with Microsoft Office.
Physical Skills:
Ability to perform work with or without an accommodation that requires sitting, standing and walking, dexterity of hands and clarity of vision, speech and hearing and powers of observation; other physical duties as required.
