What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metro Action Commission Youth Specialist position at Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County?
This is a Full-time, Non-Civil Service position with Metro Action Commission with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. The position will support youth employment and development through both direct services and supporting subcontracts. Collaborate with both internal divisions and departments as well as with community-based organizations. Ensure integration into internal and external teams to support the agencies program implementation for on-going service delivery. Uphold the Mission, Vision and Values and Philosophy of the Metropolitan Action Commission

- Implement employment and employability-focused opportunities and resources for young people.
- Collaborate as a part of internal teams to strengthen outcomes for youth success.
- Assist with the development of public relations and communications strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness.
- Engage local and regional employers to support workforce program goals.
- Coordinate and provide technical assistance and training to subcontractors.
- Assist in design of performance objectives and implement and monitor programming to meet desired outcomes.
- Assist in data collection methods and practices for reporting compliance requirements.
- Perform related duties as required.
