We are seeking a professional with strong Customer Service skills to join our team as a Hospital Ambassador.
Shift: Monday through Friday - 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Job Description:
Under the supervision and direction of the MHS Manager or Team Lead, the Greeter/Ambassador is responsible for welcoming guests to and/or from the hospital in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. They are also responsible for assisting guests with inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets every external guest from the parking facility into the hospital and before departure of a facility.
- Utilizes proper safe patient handling techniques.
- Personally escorts guests throughout the facility, opens doors, offers wheelchair assistance, guidance, and carries packages and luggage.
- Responds to guest inquiries and concerns promptly with courtesy.
- Knowledge of the facility procedures and guest-related information including, facility general information, general event information, taxi/transportation assistance, and airport information.
- Responds to safety hazards according to facility procedures to include: water on floor, objects inadvertently blocking doors, electrical cords removed or taped, and misplaced furniture.
- Immediately report any accidents to manager on duty.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintains safe, clean and neat work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Maintains strict confidentiality related to work information (in accordance with HIPAA).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Requirements:
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to work legally in the United States.
- Must pass background and drug screenings.
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Required to meet immunization or health screening requirements.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for customer service and attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.25 per hour
