We are technologists with strong business acumen focused on developing our talent to continually transform and innovate.The Role :  The AVP, Control Functions Technology role is responsible for the modernization and strategic development of the technology platform supporting operational risk, technology risk, and credit risk functions. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with business partners to establish modern, data-driven technology solutions and effective operating models that foster cross-functional collaboration and provide a holistic view and management of risk across the organization.In this role, the selected candidate will lead product teams comprising a core development team, project managers, analysts, and software engineers. The candidate will leverage their expertise in risk technology, application development, and organizational leadership.Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage a team of product managers, developers, and project managers in the areas of Operational Risk, Technology Risk, and Credit Risk.Develop and execute strategic roadmaps aligned with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Network Operations, Network Engineering, Cyber Security, and manage several external software vendors.Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the product development process by leveraging agile methodologies and industry best practices and standards.Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects while adhering to established governance frameworks and both external and internal compliance requirements.Translate business vision into work generated by multiple Agile teams to ensure the solution meets defined goals and visionProvide leadership and guidance in resolving complex technical challenges and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of product solutions.Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to Risk and EGRC domains.Partner with Audit, Application Security, and Architecture to plan for potential risks associated with products and / or processes.Leverage effective vendor management with a focus on a higher level of vendor engagement, vendor relationship building, and ultimately enhanced vendor performanceMaintain currency of technology portfolio by ensuring supported applications are consistently within one release of vendor’s latest offering.Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills : Undergraduate degree required.
