THE ROLE
Under the vision and direction of the Marketing Director, the Content Creator curates, develops, and executes content that aligns with the company's goals and promotional initiatives. This role focuses primarily on producing high-quality written content while providing support for multimedia projects, including photography, video, audio, and visual asset creation as needed.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'D DO
- Creates and upholds the integrity of the Metropolitan Market brand voice through consistent and effective copywriting, ensuring all content aligns with brand values and resonates with target audiences across all platforms.
- Leads copywriting initiatives, including both short-form and long-form content, under the direction of the Marketing Director. Contributes to creative strategy and ensures all content meets quality standards, aligns with brand objectives, and supports marketing efforts.
- Proofreads and edits all documents and outbound copy to ensure accuracy and quality, supporting both internal and external communications.
- Collaborates with the Marketing team to develop copy that aligns with company goals and strategies, contributing creatively to maximize impact and value.
- Works closely with key stakeholders to research, develop, and tailor copy for diverse channels and platforms, including blogs, emails, ad circulars, and print materials.
- Maintains the integrity of the Metropolitan Market blog by creating, coordinating, uploading, and managing content, ensuring consistency and quality under the direction of the Marketing Director.
- Actively participates in content planning, working alongside key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of deliverables across various platforms.
- Develops seasonally relevant and innovative content that leverages market trends and emerging opportunities to effectively engage Metropolitan Market guests and team members.
- Generates fresh, innovative ideas to enhance market reach and engagement, while consistently researching and implementing industry best practices for content development.
- Oversees and manages timelines as it relates to copywriting needs, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensures the consistency and accuracy of copywriting by conducting audits and making necessary adjustments to existing content, including blogs and recipe content.
- Provides support in coordinating photo and video shoots for blog content, along with additional assistance as requested by the Marketing Director.
- Assists with other initiatives as assigned by the Marketing Director.
