Patient Ratios – 1 : 5, 1 : 6

Type of equipment – Computer on Wheels / Hospira pumps / I MOBILE phones

EMR - MEDITECH

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Bariatric procedures (Gastric bypass, Gastric Sleeves), Orthopedic Surgeries (Total hip replacements, Total knee replacements), General Surgery (Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Laparoscopic appendectomies)

Schedule Information

Weekends and On call(if any) 4 weekend shifts in a schedule or 2 full weekends.

Night shift weekend night Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Day Shift weekend days - Saturday, Sunday

Unit Specific Information

Floating Guidelines - Expected to work and float to other areas

Dress Code : RN : Navy-scrub top and pant

Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy

Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors.

Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually

Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
