The Clinic Supervisor assists the Practice Manager in overseeing and managing all site-specific operations to ensure delivery of quality patient care, profitability, and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
• Responsible for regular, temporary, and on-call employees, including, but not limited to, assisting with employee evaluations, functioning as a third-party during employee coaching, and providing supervisory coverage when the manager is absent.
• Monitor patient flow, develop and coordinate effective workflow and processes within site to meet clinic-wide standards, and provide maximum efficiency and customer service.
• Manage existing patient relations by ensuring that excellent patient care and customer service are provided to all patients.
• Oversee and provide ongoing training for assigned clinic staff, as well as for new employees.
• Identify and participate in process improvement and workflow efficiencies. Understand and implement immediate steps to correct workflow concerns.
• Facilitate team meetings, create agendas, compile meeting minutes, attend and participate in supervisor/lead meetings and other meetings as requested.
• Stay up to date with current applicable regulations ensuring compliance.
• Always maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
• Display high standards of office conduct.
• Successfully work in a fast-paced, changing environment with effective time management and ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Provide backup coverage/support to the role of practice manager during absences with after-hours sick calls by staff, timekeeping, and refrigerator monitoring, as well as day-to-day operations.
• Ensure all equipment is in serviceable condition, and all necessary supplies are ordered and available.
• Participate in call coverage, including weekend call coverage rotation
• Punctual, regular, timely, and dependable attendance.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- 3 years of health care experience in a clinic setting.
- Experience with both front and back office.
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- 1-2 years of lead or supervisory experience required.
- Vocational training in the health care field.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred.
Salary : $59,904 - $74,880
