The Commercial Processor is responsible for collecting and reviewing all the information related to the real estate settlement and completion of all pre-closing procedures. The Commercial Processor is accountable for communicating effectively with all parties to assist in the real estate closing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect transaction documentation such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, surveys, trust deeds and contracts that affect property titles and all other information and documents needed for closing.
- Communicate effectively with consumers, lenders, real estate agents and service providers to coordinate the transaction.
- Prepare and issue title insurance policies based on information compiled from title searches.
- Receive and disburse funds related to the real estate transaction.
- Complete and follow-up on all pre-closing activities.
